Second Annual BSBC Adivay at Foreshore Park

The culmination of the BSBC Adivay for the second year in a row held at Burnaby’s foreshore park. The second annual Benguet Society of British Columbia Adivay for 2022

“Adivay” is an Ibaloi word that means “coming together”, a cultural celebration that brings together entire villages, communities and people, even if we are abroad. Featuring the various variations of dances or “Tayaw” from each Municipality as well as booths that reflect what make each municipality special.

The Adivay featured the representations of the municipalities that make up the province of Benguet. From the booths of Atok to the myriad of variations of the “Tayaw”, each Municipality expressed what made their own place special.

The 13 Municipalities that make up Benguet are as follows:

Atok, Bakun, Bokod, Buguias , Itogon, Kabayan, Kapangan, Kibungan, La Trinidad, Mankayan, Sablan, Tuba, Tublay
