BIBAK Valentines Dinner & Dance 2024
A wonderful night of dancing and love, filling the air as country music, disco and gangsa being played. The rhythm pulsating within the hearts of each Kailiyan and guest. Food, drinks and laughter all to be had celebrating our annual Valentines day.
All of our events would not be possible without the volunteers. The hands that prepare the food and serving all throughout the week and days prior to the celebration. The hours and hard work by each member giving for the purpose of celebrating with each other for the sake of love.
Our our organization and many organizations of Kailiyans would not be without their enthusiastic labour. Here are some of what they have to say:
”Simply knowing what your purpose is and your priority when it comes to having a dinner and dance fundraising event. Consider the people, the food, the music, and how you can make the event an enjoyable and memorable one. Fundraising is not all about money that you will raise but also the fulfillment that comes after.”
— Ids Tayaban, BIBAK President
“It was carefully planned out and executed perfectly. I believe everyone had a fun night dancing and socializing and that is the outcome we had hoped.”
— Dwayne Berto, BIBAK 2nd Vice President
“The event proves how unified our BIBAK community is.”
— Desiree Fanitog, Youth Coordinator
“It was a nice mixture of music from traditional gongs, sweet couple dances, and modern music. A shot of alcohol for the shy Igorot men to finally invite their partners to dance. A lot of talents were revealed through their unique dance steps and some finally got the chance to dance the line dance they practiced. I guess what I'm saying is everyone had a great time. Lastly, beyond every successful event were volunteers who gave their time cooking, serving, setting up, and cleaning up. Hurray! To BIBAK officers and to all volunteers.”
— Lulubelle Lonogan, Youth Coordinator
